All Dharma Derived from Emptiness
Shakyamuni Buddha is teaching the Ultimate Subtle Lotus Tune at the Vulture Peak, 32 Characteristicsof a Great Man, and 80 Secondary Characteristics. All of a sudden, the heavenly rain and precious flowers fall in profusion. All Buddhas are filled with joy,the heaven and the earth present beauty and peace, and the message of Mohe the Immeasurable Long-Lived Buddha permeates in the air. All participating beings, such as Arhats, Bodhisavvtas, Bhikkhus, Bhiksunis, Upasakas, Upasikas, Denonholy beings and custodians all receive Dharma favors equitably. At this time, the hearts of all beings have integrated into the Shakyamuni Buddha'semptiness. In this moment, the existence of time and space is meaningless. Suddenly, the noble and beautiful Bhagavadlightly picks the golden pineapple flower which is cultivated by Indra God infront of Shakyama Buddha's throne, and Sattha gets hold of it upon her chest;silence followed, and immediately, there is no Dharma, there are no forms –- In the meantime, the towering ancienttemple from Tang Dynasty on the earth appears serenely and solemnly in the softlight of the clear moon. At this instant, from the back of the ancient temple, there carries over the intermittent chanting bell sound, dong –-- dong –--dong–-- The monks enter the place of preaching inprocession and quietly seat themselves in front of the throne, preparing toattend to the 13th Rinzai Chan master, Pu An, the Great Monk (1115-1169) whoslowly proclaims the supreme subtle Mantra which just came to his realization. This Dharani Pu An Ten which he just pondered, called Pu An Incantation, comesfrom the heart-to-heart comprehension of the Great Monk. It comprises mixedcombinations of various syllables which constitute an exquisitely naturalmelody, leading the listeners to the pure land of the Buddha's heart. Thefeelings are extremely calm and peaceful. “Namo Buddha Namo Dharmaya NamoSangharaya Namo Shakyamuni Buddha Nomo Guanshiyin Buddha -------; DuodiduoDandudi Dudidan Natan Duo-duo---duo-duo-duo-duo-duotanna...........” Promptly, the seated beings, including thedemonstrative and emotionless, are bathed in such Buddha tune flow that theimmeasurable compassion and joy rise in everyone's heart …..... As the Great Monk proclaims the lastsentence of the Supreme Subtle Matra, my guqin tunes stop instantaneously, andthe last note lacerates the sky dissolved back to the emptiness of Dharma ofthe universe. The forceful fortissimo sound coincides with Shakyama Buddha'ssmile of picking the flower, beyond description, heart to heart.Simultaneously, “Chan” has long been ceaselessly flowing in our three hearts –without Buddha ---- without impression ------ surely without self -------.
