1.JPG

我彈的譜共分八段,源自1876年川派琹家張孔山先生之天聞閣琹譜;
(他是清代四川青城山的道士);
如今,對那看透世情的智光,總如刀一般的鋒芒;
誠如李白所言"蜀僧抱綠綺,西下峨眉峰;
The running water of a streamfreezes into ice
Running Water is a famous guqincomposition,
The whole piece is permeated with the dripping and gurgling water sounds
The musical scores I play are divided into 8 sections which are originatedfrom the 1876 Tianwen Pavilion musical scores by ZHANG Kongshan of the Chuan School.
(He was Qing Dynasty's Tao priest of MountQingcheng in Sichuan.)
The music begins with scattered murmuring water, piercingly cold,
Followed by the melodious ethereal mountain's turbulent waterfalls,gushing current,
Moving forward to the beginning of the 6th section: galloping rolling waves up and down
As though sweeping up a mound of snow, till rapids splash, surgingimposingly
Leading us into a cozy and expansive vast smoke-like waves
Pondering over endlessly and lingers on in my heart
Ruminate, life is like ariver of no return
Life is like the flowingwater accompanied by the indelible first aspiration
Now, the wisdom which seesthrough ways of the world, is always as sharp as a knife.
Just like Li Bai says, The monk from Sichuan carries his guqin,Walking down west of Mount Emei, With one stroke he begins to play for me, asthough whispering from thousands of pine trees in the valleys. My heart feelslike being cleansed, sonorous and resounding into the temple's bells.
Unconscious of the darkeninggreen mountain, the autumn clouds heap in the sky.
Every time touching theguqin in the dead of night, the player and the instrument can always forgeteach other
72 techniques for playingflowing water, what do you gain and what do you lose?
It is like the running waterof a stream that always freezes into ice.
Lackaday!
